- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 egg white, beaten with 1 tsp. each salt and water
- caraway seed or coarse salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in water.

2Let set 5 to 10 minutes. Add 2 cups of flour, salt and oil.

3Beat until smooth.

4Gradually put in more flour to make dough soft.

5Knead dough until smooth and elastic.

6Add more dough, if sticky.

7Place dough into greased bowl; cover and let set until risen (45 minutes to 1 hour).
