Sonora Cheese Dip

  • 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (8 oz.)
  • 2 c. American cheese (medium sharp)
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 2/3 c. finely chopped red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped seeded jalapeno pepper

Directions

    Melt cheeses together in the top of a double boiler over simmering water 5 to 10 minutes.

    Stir in green onions, red pepper and jalapeno pepper.

    Serve hot with chips.
