  • 3 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Knead for 5 minutes.

    Let raise in covered bowl for at least 2 to 3 hours.

    Then roll dough about 1/8-inch thick.

    Then cut into squares or as big as you want them. Fry in Fry Daddy or at 375°.
