- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons cold butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sour cream
- Glaze
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°F.

2Cut butter into dry ingredients.

3In another bowl, beat egg and mix with sour cream.

4Add to dry ingredients and mix lightly with a fork just until incorporated

5into a ball.

6Roll out with a light touch on floured board to 3/4 inch thick.

7Cut with cutter.

8Glaze if desired by brushing with cream and sprinkling with sugar and maybe a little cinnamon if you like.

9Bake 15 minute or until done.
