- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 4 c. pecan halves (toasted)
Directions

1Combine sour cream and sugar.

2Cook over medium-low heat to almost hard boil at 242°.

3Turn off flame or heat.

4Add vanilla, butter and soda.

5Beat for 1 or 2 minutes.

6Add pecans, stirring to coat.

7Turn onto lightly buttered baking sheet.

8Cool and separate pecan halves.

9Makes 4 cups.
