  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.

    Sift flour and soda together; add alternately with sour cream.

    Begin and end with flour.

    Mix in flavorings at low speed.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan.

    Place in cold oven and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 to 20 minutes.
