- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter until fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Mix flour, soda and salt.

4Add this mixture alternately with sour cream.

5Add flavorings and pour into well-greased pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

7Let stand about 5 minutes before removing from pan.
