- 4 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. alum
- 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water to equal 1 gallon
Directions

1Place cucumbers in quart jars packed tightly.

2Add brine, covering cucumbers, leaving air space.
