- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sour milk (add 1 Tbsp. vinegar to 1 c. sweet milk and let stand 1 hour)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix all dry ingredients together.

3Cut in Crisco and add yeast and milk; mix well.

4Let set in refrigerator until needed.

5Drop by spoonful or roll in flour.

6Bake at 450° until brown.
