  • basic sourdough
  • 1 scant tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. shortening

Directions

    Use basic sourdough as needed to form soft dough. Turn out on floured board and roll to 1/2-inch thick.

    Cut out and place in greased pan. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
