- 1 pint flour, all-purpose
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 pint water or canned milk, warm
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup water tepid
Directions

1Mix flour and 1 teaspoon of salt with warm water or canned milk.

2Beat into a smooth batter.

3Keep in a warm place until well soured or fermented.

4Add another teaspoon of salt and soda dissolved in tepid water and enough flour to make the dough easy to handle.

5Knead until dough is no longer sticky, cup up into biscuits and cook in a pan containing plenty of grease.
