Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup starter
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.

    Grease another bowl.

    Put dough in greased bowl and turn over once to grease all sides.

    Cover lightly with foil and stand overnight.

    If you do not have a warm place, it may take up to 24 hours.

    After raising to top of bowl, punch down.

    Divide into 3 loaves.

    Knead each part on floured surface 8-10 times.

    Put in greased loaf pan. Brush with butter.

    Let rise 4-8 hours or double in size.
