  • 1 c. sourdough starter
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    After you've completed the second step and have removed 1 cup of the starter from the refrigerator, add flour, salt, sugar, baking soda and oil to remaining sourdough.

    Stir until smooth and flour is completely absorbed.

    Dough should be just firm enough to gather into a ball.

    If necessary, add 1/2 cup additional flour, stirring until all flour is absorbed.

    Knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.

    Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.

    Cover and let rise until double, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
