- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. potato flakes
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Mix 1 cup warm water, 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons instant potato flakes.

3Add to yeast mixture.

4Put in glass jar with lid.

5Let sit all day with lid closed.

6Then refrigerate for 3 to 5 days.

7Remove from refrigerator and feed it with 1 cup warm water, 2/3 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons of potato flakes.

8Let mixture set at room temperature all day.

9Starter is now ready to use.
