- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in a glass or plastic container.

2Let it stand in a warm place for 48 hours.

3It may smell sour and liquid may form on top, so stir before each use.

4Use now or store it in the refrigerator, but always leave at least 1 cup starter.

5Feed once or twice a week with 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 cup milk.

6Do not use for 24 hours after feeding it.

7If you feel generous, give 1 1/2 cups plus recipe to a friend.
