- 2 c. fresh (cut off cob) or frozen corn
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 c. milk or cream
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- cracker crumbs
Directions

1Beat eggs well and add to corn.

2Melt butter and add to milk. Add spices.

3Add to corn and eggs and stir well.

4Pour into well-greased casserole dish.

5Sprinkle top with cracker crumbs. Bake in a very slow 250° oven for 40 to 60 minutes, until custard is set. (Knife stuck into the center will come out clean.)

6Serves 4 to 6.
