- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 2 c. minced celery
- 4 c. crumbled dry cornbread
- 10 slices toasted bread
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- powdered poultry seasoning to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy pan.

2Add onions and celery; saute until tender.

3Add dry ingredients, seasoning and egg; blend well.

4Add stock and mix thoroughly.

5(Use less liquid when stuffing a turkey.)

6Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes in a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
