- 12 ears corn
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cut kernels of corn off cobs with sharp knife.

2Scrape each ear with knife to remove all of corn and milk from each ear.

3Melt butter in heavy saucepan or heavy skillet.

4Add corn and 1 tablespoon of milk per ear (about 1 cup for 12 ears).

5Simmer until tender.

6Season to taste with salt and pepper.

7(I use white pepper.)
