  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 2/3 c. white corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • whipped cream topping (optional)

Directions

    Combine first 8 ingredients in a blender.

    Blend just until mixed, about 3 seconds.

    Add nuts for another second if not already chopped fine enough.

    Pour into pie shell and bake for 45 minutes at 350° or until filling is puffed and crust is brown.
