  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. persimmon pulp
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. nut meats

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add eggs to persimmon pulp, then add dry ingredients, butter and milk.

    Add nut meats and mix well.

    Bake in a greased dish at 350° until firm, about 1 hour. Serve with hard sauce, if desired.
