  • 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. butter

    Combine Grape-Nuts and water; let stand until water is absorbed.

    Beat eggs well.

    Add sugar, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and melted butter.

    Fold in the softened Grape-Nuts.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across the top.
