- 3 slices bacon, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 c. long grain rice, uncooked
- 2 cans of Trappey's okra and tomatoes
- 1 c. cooked, diced ham
- 1 c. tomato juice
Directions

1Fry bacon and drain.

2Add onion and rice to bacon dripping in skillet.

3Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, until rice is transparent. Spoon the skillet mixture and other ingredients into a casserole dish.

4Cover.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
