- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. navy beans or pinto, cooked (may use canned navy beans; reserve juice)
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin seed, crushed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
Directions

1Brown beef and onion in oil.

2Stir in flour and add seasonings.

3Add tomato sauce and 2 cups of the liquid the beans were cooked in.

4Simmer about 45 minutes.

5Add beans and simmer until flavors blend.
