Southwest Crescent Pie

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can of beans
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. frozen corn
  • 1 package crescent-roll dough
  • 1/2 c. Jack cheese

Directions

    Brown beef in large nonstick skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink.

    Pour off the drippings.

    Stir in beans in chili sauce, tomatoes and corn; bring to a boil.

    Cook 10 minutes, or until most of liquid has evaporated, stirring.

    Separate 1 package crescent-roll dough into 8 triangles.

    Line 9-inch pie plate with triangles, narrow tips toward center.

    Firmly press edges together to form a crust.

    Bake in 375 degrees F oven for 10 minutes; remove.

    Spoon beef mixture into crust; sprinkle with pepper Jack cheese.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges of crust are golden brown and cheese is melted.
