Southwest Green Beans

  • 2 (16 oz.) canned green beans
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 c. or more chili sauce (in bottle)
  • 4 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

    Drain green beans, leaving a little water in each can. Saute onion in bacon drippings. Add chili sauce, beans and bacon. Chill overnight. Heat to serve about 20 minutes at 350°.
