  • 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chillies
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz. pkg.)

Directions

    Stir all ingredients, except last two, in mixing bowl.

    Pour half batter in 2-quart baking dish.

    Sprinkle green chillies and Cheddar cheese over batter.

    Pour remaining batter over all.

    Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes or until set.

    Serve warm.
