- 1 1/8 pounds ground beef
- 2 slices white bread soaked in the wine
- 1 lemon small
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- cumin
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Squeeze the wine out of the bread and add it to the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

2Mix well ensuring everything is combined. The mixture should feel soft.

3Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour

4Remove from the refrigerator and using moistened hands, pinch off portions of the meat mixture and shape into oblong-ish patties. Place them on baking paper as you prepare them.

5Heat up a griddle pan brushed with olive oil and proceed to cook the soutzoukakia until they are browned on all sides, 5 to 7 min.

6Serve Soutzoukakia with Pita Bread, Fried potatoes.
