Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 (1 1/2-inch) piece ginger root, peeled
- 1/4 c. parsley leaves
- 1 medium onion
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 c. dry sherry
- ground white pepper
- 4 lb. chicken breasts
Directions

1Mince garlic, ginger, parsley and onion.

2Place in large plastic container.

3Stir in the soy sauce, chicken broth, sugar, vinegar, sherry and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

4Add chicken breasts and turn to coat in marinade.

5Cover and refrigerate, turning once, overnight or up to 24 hours.

6Remove chicken and pat dry.

7Place chicken on hot grill.

8Cover and cook (basting occasionally with marinade) for approximately 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
