- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 lb asparagus
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
Directions

1Cut chicken breasts diagonally and place in a single layer in the bottom of an oven-proof dish.

2Pour in soy sauce.

3Squeeze the juice from half the orange onto the chicken.

4Cut the other half of the orange into wedges and arrange on top of the chicken.

5Cover and marinate for several hours.

6Preheat the oven to 350F When oven is heated, remove cover from chicken, flip chicken, and bake 20 minutes (uncovered).

7Flip again and bake another 15 minutes.

8Meanwhile, trim woody ends from asparagus.

9Heat a little oil or butter in a heavy skillet.

10Saute the asparagus, adding the white pepper and lemon juice a little at a time to glaze the asparagus.

11Cook until desired texture is reached.

12This will probably not take more than 10 minutes.

13Serve chicken and orange wedges on top of asparagus.
