  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. hot Italian sausage
  • yellow bell pepper
  • red bell pepper
  • 1 clove diced garlic
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cans Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pt. spaghetti sauce (your choice)
  • 2 lb. pkg. pasta

Directions

    Brown ground beef and Italian sausage.

    Drain off oil.

    Place on doubled paper towels to get out oil.

    Slice sausage into desired shape.

    Brown onion, garlic and bell peppers in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

    After obtaining desired texture, add spaghetti sauce, stewed tomatoes and cilantro.

    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

    Add beef and sausage and simmer 30 minutes.
