- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 tsp. basil
- 8 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked and drained
- 1 to 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In Dutch oven, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until brown and tender.

2Drain well.

3Stir in vegetables and seasonings. Bring to boil and boil gently, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Stir in spaghetti.

5Place half of mixture in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

6Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

7Top with remaining mixture; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

8Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
