Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomato catsup
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked and drained
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In Dutch oven, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until beef is browned and onion tender.

    Drain off fat.

    Stir in next 7 ingredients.

    Bring to boil.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Remove meat sauce from heat and stir in drained spaghetti. Place half in a 9 x 13 pan.

    Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

    Top with rest of spaghetti mix.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until heated.
