- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. basil
- 8 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked and drained
- 1 to 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan
Directions

1In Dutch oven, cook beef, onion and garlic until done.

2Drain in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms and spices. Boil gently, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

3Stir in drained spaghetti.

4Put half of the meat sauce in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

5Sprinkle with Mozzarella and top with Parmesan. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. This dish will freeze.
