  • 4 ounces bacon (or more)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (optional)
  • 12 teaspoon chili flakes, careful
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 13 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • pepper, freshly ground

    Cook bacon, garlic,chilies and oil on med/low heat for 15 minutes.

    Simultaneously boil pasta.

    Beat eggs with cheese.

    Timing is important.

    Drain pasta and quickly toss with garlic mixture and the egg/cheese mixture.

    Serve immediately with freshly ground pepper.
