Spaghetti Casserole

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken into 4-inch lengths
  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until just tender.

    In skillet, brown meat and onions.

    Drain.

    In large casserole, combine both cans of soup and water.

    Add spaghetti and meat, with onions.

    Mix well.

    Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Top with cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted. Serves 4 to 6. (If they ask you for the recipe, use Italian accent!)
