  • 1 pkg. Kraft tangy Italian dinner
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste (I use tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes)
  • onion
  • 1 1/2 c. water (if using tomato paste)
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thaw, drain (do not cook)
  • 1 (6 or 8 oz.) Kraft low moisture Mozzarella cheese (I like shredded)

    Prepare spaghetti as directed on package.

    Brown meat and onion.

    Drain.

    Stir in spice mix, tomato paste and water or tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes.

    Bring to boil.

    Simmer 10 minutes.

    Place in 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish in layers: 1/2 spaghetti, 1/2 meat-sauce mix; 1/2 cottage cheese; 1/2 broccoli and 1/2 Mozzarella cheese.

    Repeat layers, ending with Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until broccoli is done.
