- 4 oz. spaghetti
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- nonstick spray coating
- 1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Cook spaghetti in saucepan in boiling unsalted water for 10 to 12 minutes.

2Drain well.

3Return to saucepan and stir in margarine.

4Stir in egg and Parmesan cheese.

5Spray 9-inch pie plate with nonstick coating.

6Press spaghetti mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of pie plate to form crust.

7Spread cottage cheese over crust.

8In skillet, cook beef or turkey, onion, pepper and garlic until onion is tender and beef is no longer pink.

9Drain off fat.

10Stir in tomato sauce and oregano. Spread meat mixture over cottage cheese.

11Sprinkle with Mozzarella.

12Bake, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
