- 8 oz. (1/2 lb.) spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. (8 oz.) cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, drained and cut up
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Cook spaghetti and start sauce.

2When spaghetti is done, toss with oil in large bowl.

3Reserve 1 cup spaghetti for filling. Toss remaining spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and eggs.

4Turn into 10-inch pie pan.

5Press spaghetti mixture into bottom and sides of pan to form crust.

6Evenly spread cottage cheese over bottom of crust.

7When sauce is done, stir in the reserved spaghetti.

8Spoon meat mixture over cottage cheese.

9Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.

10Cover loosely with greased foil.

11Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
