- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 14 cup chopped sweet red pepper (optional)
- 8 ounces canned tomatoes, with liquid cut up
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt
- 12 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and place in a bowl.

2Add butter, eggs and Parmesan cheese; mix well.

3Spread over the bottom and up the sides of a greased 10 in deep dish pie plate to form a crust.

4Spread cottage cheese into crust and set aside.

5In a skillet, brown beef, onion and pepper; drain.

6Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.

7Spoon over cottage cheese.

8Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

9Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; return to the oven for 5 minutes more or until the cheese is melted.

10Cut into wedges.
