Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 (28 oz.) cans imported Roma tomatoes, drained or Progresso tomatoes and sauce mixed (not drained)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil (or 2 tsp. dried)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh oregano (or 2 tsp. dried)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat oil in 3-quart saucepan; saute garlic and onion. Process tomatoes in food processor or blender.

2Stir tomatoes and remaining ingredients into the saucepan.

3Heat to boiling; simmer about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
