- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (20 oz.) can tomato juice
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar Twin
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried crushed basil
Directions

1Heat the butter.

2Cook the onion and garlic.

3Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

4Stir in the tomato juice, tomato paste, Sugar Twin, salt, pepper and basil.

5Cook, uncovered, over low heat, about 1 hour.

6Stir occasionally.

7Makes 1 1/2 quarts. One-half cup serving contains 157 calories.
