- 3/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes or 4 c. fresh tomatoes, cut up
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
- sprinkle of nutmeg
Directions

1Saute the onions and garlic salt in the salad oil in a large Dutch oven pan until clear.

2Add the rest of the ingredients; bring to a boil and then turn to simmer and simmer for 1 hour or more until of desired consistency.

3Use as any recipe requests for spaghetti sauce.
