- 5 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. raw rice
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 small can tomato puree
- 8 oz. can peas
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 c. water
Directions

1Fry rice in oil for about 5 minutes.

2Add onion and saute until onion is tender.

3Add tomato puree and 2 cups water.

4Let simmer for about 20 minutes. Add peas and remaining water.

5Cook until rice is tender.
