- 3 pkg. French's spaghetti sauce mix
- 3 (6 oz.) cans Contadina tomato paste
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. crushed basil
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 pods garlic, chopped fine
- 3 pt. water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 lb. ground beef
- Accent to taste (optional)
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese
Directions

1In a large boiler, empty mix.

2Add paste, rinsing each can with 1/2 can water.

3Add undrained tomatoes (mash before adding). Add basil, oregano, onion and garlic.

4Stir well.

5Stir in 3 pints of water and sugar.

6Bring to a boil; simmer 2 hours.

7Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
