Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar Bertolli marinara with Burgundy wine spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 tsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (this is red pepper)
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms

    Brown hamburger and onion in skillet.

    Drain grease.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients and cook on low (about 2 or 3 on the stove) for about 45 minutes. Make sure you stir on occasion. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
