- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) package thin spaghetti
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1In 12 inch skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink.

2Drain; Stir in tomato juice, water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and spices.

3Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

4Add uncooked spaghetti; stir to separate strands.

5Simmer, covered for 30 minutes more, or until spaghetti is tender.

6Stir often.

7Sprinkle with parmesan cheese when serving.
