Spanish Baked Chicken

- 14 cup olive oil
- 14 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash pepper
- 3 bay leaves
- 12 cup golden raisin
- 14 cup green olives, pitted and sliced
- 3 lbs chicken parts
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 12 cup dry white wine
Directions

1In a medium bowl combine the olive oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, garlic powder, pepper, bay leaves, raisins and olives.

2Prick the skin of the chicken with fork tines and add to the marinade, coating well.

3Cover and refrigerate several hours, or overnight.

4Preheat oven to 350F

5Place chicken in a 12x8x2-inch baking dish.

6Combine wine with the marinade and pour over chicken.

7Sprinkle chicken with brown sugar.

8Bake uncovered at 350F, basting occasionally, until chicken is tender, about 50 minutes.

9Remove bay leaves.

10Serve with rice.
