  • 1 cup butter
  • onions cup chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 quart canned tomatoes
  • pepper
  • garlic
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 6 eggs hard boiled
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs buttered

Directions

    Saute celery and onions in butter until soft.

    Add flour, then tomatoes, seasonings and sugar.

    Cook until thickened.

    Place in casserole and arrange the six eggs (12 halves) on top.

    Cover with buttered crumbs and bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
