- 1 (16 oz.) can string beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste

1Cut onion and bell pepper in strips.

2Saute in butter or oil until tender.

3Add string beans and tomatoes.

4Simmer about 20 minutes.
