- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (1 lb.) canned beef
- 2 c. steamed rice
Directions

1Cook onion, green pepper and celery in hot butter until yellow.

2Add cooked tomatoes, salt and pepper and cook slowly 15 minutes.

3Drain canned beef and heat until hot and then add remaining ingredients and continue cooking until hot.

4Serve on bed of hot steaming rice.
